What if fashion sales were like festivals? You're about to find out. Rack Off is a three-day event designed by Jez Gordon and will run over Friday, November 6 to Sunday November 8. It's created in partnership with boutique store, Sorry Thanks I Love You, Fish Butchery's Josh Niland, P&V's Mike Bennie.
Two mini warehouse spaces in Paddington will be linked by way of a velvet-draped labyrinthine passageway, where guests can flit between a sommelier-manned P&V pet nat bar and changerooms to try on new and older season fashion from STILY. The collection is made up of heavily discounted avant garde pieces by Comme des Garçons, Issey Miyake, Veja, Rick Owens, Maison Margiela, and local designers like Lucy Folk and Bassike. Plus, a portion of profits will be donated to STILY’s long term partner, integrated cancer hospital Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. Josh Niland will be offering up a range of snacks, including his famously buttery sea urchin crumpet.
“This is the creative, cool, interesting event space I love playing in,” said P&V founder, Mike Bennie in a press release. “The combining of STILY, Jez Gordon and our chef mate Josh Niland makes for a seriously potent and original experience. We’re grateful to be doing something unique here – in amongst fashion and creative culture, sharing the love of great wines.”
Stop by Rack Off at 17 Oxford Street, Paddington, between 10am-6pm on Friday 6 to Sunday 8 November.
