Time Out says

It’s time to take to the streets of Parramatta as the Parramatta Nights Street Festival prepares to shake the foundations of the city. Live music, performances and art will be happening across five outdoor stages and two weekends to celebrate the diversity and talent of the denizens of Western Sydney.

Funded by NSW Government’s the Festival of Place Open Streets program, the parties will showcase Korean rap, Jamaican dancehall. jazz, comedy, R’n’B and much more, and there’ll be bars and street food galore.

On Weekend One (March 18-20) the Justice Stage will showcase Blessed, Bally Boy, Jaecy, 3K to name a few. Sunday family day has the Soul of Sydney takeover and dance workshops where you can shake your tail feather. Hitting the Justice Stage on weekend two will be Harvey Sutherland, Pist Idiots, GLO, Civic, and many more. Sunday family day will have Emma Donovan and the Putbacks and special guests.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, Phillip Lane is an extravaganza of food, DJs, bands and theatre, while Sundays have hands-on activities designed to engage your kids' imagination and curiosity.

Phillip Street will be weirdness central with anything from talking lamp posts to magicians, to deep-sea divers on land and dinosaurs come to life. Featured is a community Holi festival with dancers and colour throwing (Mar 18-20); a roster of local artists presented by IVRY Records (Mar 25-27) and special kids’ disco featuring DJ Levins on both weekends.

Erby Place Block Party will feature live reggae and disco (weekend one), live music curated by Trackwork and Homebase Sundaze and ICE Parramatta (weekend two) plus a bar by Archie Rose and delicious Latin American eats from Raza Central Truck.

And the length of Church Street will be the site of roving performances by Django a Go Go, magician Jackson Aces, the ERTH Dinosaurs and Deep Sea Divers, a giant octopus and more.

Parramatta Nights Street Festival is free and takes place Fridays 5-10pm, Saturdays 2-11pm and Sundays Sun 2-8pm. See you there!
