Time Out says

Parramatta knows how to party and are pulling out all the stops for the return of their epic New Year’s Eve concert. There’ll be tonnes of free, family-friendly fun to help you farewell 2023, including spectacular live music, garden games, a great line-up of food trucks and, of course, the sparkling fireworks finish.

Groovers should shimmy over to the main stage at the Crescent in Parramatta Park from 5pm to watch the free concert headlined by ARIA Award-winning band Sneaky Sound System. Best known for their chart-topping hits ‘UFO’, ‘Pictures’ and ‘I Love It’, this Aussie duo is bound to get the whole crowd moving their feat. The main stage, hosted by 2Day FM’s Justin Hill, will also welcome DJ Pluggy with her pumping K-Pop beats and a performance by Western Sydney’s very own dynamic five-piece band, Burnt Butter Jam.

Coronation Hill will also be ramping things up with family-friendly activations including a hands-on science precinct, charming garden games, and a bubble and music play area. Beyond the entertainment, there’ll also be heaps of on-site food trucks and a bar for your last dinner and drinks of 2023. The night will end at the kid-friendly time of 9.30pm, after fireworks light up the sky in a grand finale.

Remember to pack your picnic blanket and arrive early to nab the best viewing spot. You can find out more about Parramatta’s New Year’s Eve concert here.
