Parramatta knows how to party and are pulling out all the stops for the return of their epic New Year’s Eve concert. There’ll be tonnes of free, family-friendly fun to help you farewell 2024 – including spectacular live music on two stages, games and activities, a great line-up of food trucks and, of course, the sparkling fireworks finish.
Groovers should shimmy over to The Crescent Stage in Parramatta Park from 5pm to watch the free concert headlined by electronic duo Bag Raiders, best known for their globe hits 'Shooting Stars', ‘Way Back Home’ and ‘Got Me Started’, and a DJ set from the Grammy nominated and ARIA winning act Cut Copy. The Paddock Stage features Dorothy the Dinosaur playing a DJ set alongside a line-up of dance worthy music. Entry is free to both stages, but you’ll need a wristband to gain access to The Crescent Stage. You can pick one up at The Crescent stage wristband tent at Old Government House from 1pm on the day.
For the little ones, there's plenty of family-friendly activations including amusement rides, a silent disco spinning the latest hits and an eight-metre high rock climbing wall. Beyond the entertainment, there’ll also be heaps of on-site food trucks for your last dinner and drinks of 2024. The night will end at the kid-friendly time of 9pm, after fireworks light up the sky in a grand finale.
