As a campaigner for GetUp and Fellow at the Centre for Policy Development, Miriam Lyons is working hard to create a cleaner, greener Australia. With a federal election looming she’s currently tackling “Australia’s heavily subsidised fossil-fuel lobby and their friends in parliament”.
In the future Miriam hopes Sydney: “Becomes the world’s greenest city, with solar on the roof of every home that wants it, great public transport in the outer suburbs as well as the inner city, and affordable, energy-efficient housing for all.”
