Langton’s Classification of Australian wine is an internationally renowned ranking of the country’s finest and rarest wines. It only takes place once every four years, and this year’s event gives you the chance to taste more than 100 different drops.
Tickets to the 7th edition in Sydney include a hardback copy of the Classification VII book and a Riedel tasting glass to take home, plus cheese and charcuterie to match those bold reds and oak-laden whites on the day. Aspiring vignerons and sommeliers will meet some of the great wine minds, with the country’s most renowned owners, growers and winemakers attending the event.
There’s three categories with 136 wines to sample across the range, which offers up glasses from premium wine labels like Penfolds, Henschke and Chris Ringland.
