Time Out says

To properly honor the elegant mauve flora of this town in Sydney’s south west, they’re hosting a three-day neighbourhood celebration centred around jacarandas. The lilac streets of Argyle Street in Camden have become renowned for their springtime blooms, and the purple beauties dotted around the town will be the centrepiece of this brand new festival.

It’ll all begin on Friday, November 23 when venues along Argyle Street will be taken over by local entertainers singing and dancing their hearts out. On Saturday you’ll find more Camden action on the main street, with a huge afternoon of markets, live performances, Santa photos and a spectacular fireworks finish. Then things will fire up on Sunday with the motocross and car show at Larkin Place. There’ll be hairraising stunts and super shiny rides on display.

While the festivities only last for the one weekend, there’s still plenty of time to meet purple goddesses, especially when you know the best places to see jacaranda trees in Sydney and NSW.
