Every Sunday in autumn, the Paramount Recreation Club will be laying tables with seasonal bouquets and feasting plates for their Harvest Lunch. They’re hosting the big eating event on their rooftop to showcase the produce from the Locals Market, which is a small enterprise operating out of the club bringing local, seasonable produce to the neighbourhood.
They’ll be expanding their usual vegetarian offering for the feast, adding some ethically sourced animal products to the seasonal dishes that will be prepared by the club’s head chef David Rigby. And while they’ve got the glassware sorted, it’s a BYO situation on the alcohol front, so you can pair your favourite pinto or ale with the autumnal food offerings.
The lunches run for relaxed two-hour sessions, and there’ll be a soundtrack of live acoustic tunes that, like your meal, will be locally sourced.
