When a big sporting event comes to town, so does a big buzzy vibe – and during the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, nowhere (except perhaps the stadiums) will be more vibey than Tumbalong Park, where the FIFA Fan Festival will be held. This all-ages fest will kick off on the same day as the Cup, on July 20, and come to a grand close after the championship match on August 20.

From the Festival base, you’ll be able to watch live streams of every single FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 game for free, groove along to top Aussie music acts, explore the FIFA Museum, and test your skills at the Football Playground. Here’s how to make the most of your FIFA Fan Festival experience.

Catch the action live and loud

You don’t have to miss a minute of the world’s largest women’s sporting event with every game being live streamed for free on giant screens at Tumbalong Park. Be there to watch the Matildas’ first hometown World Cup match, as they take on the Girls in Green from Ireland at Sydney’s largest stadium, Stadium Australia on Thursday, July 20 at 8pm. You’ll also want to mark your calendars for the FIFA Women’s World Cup semi-finals on August 15 and 16 and the coveted grand final on Sunday, August 20 at 8pm.

Stay and play

Once you've witnessed the pros in action on the big screen, it's time to put your skills to the test at the Festival Playground. Challenge your buddies and fellow fans with an exciting line-up of drills and activities for all ages. Find out who's got the strongest shot by kicking past a speedometer, take on the winner afterwards in a thrilling game of football snooker and test your precision in a three-hole round of football mini golf. Top it all off by practising your penalty kicks or joining a full game on the awesome pop-up pitch. Let the games begin!

Be part of history

Get ready to dive into the incredible history of the FIFA Women's World Cup at the FIFA Museum. Since 1991, it has been the biggest women’s sporting event worldwide and the excitement is heading to Sydney for the first time ever in the Southern Hemisphere. Discover the epic history of this prestigious competition, from its fascinating origins to the legendary players who have graced the field, through interactive team profiles, films, a jersey colouring-in competition and historic artefacts, including the shiny FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy.

Celebrate with the greats

Tumbalong Park will celebrate the spirit and sounds of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 with free live entertainment at every game. You can bop along to house DJs before each match and look forward to thrilling half-time and post-match entertainment from top Aussie talents.
