Dion Lee is one of Australia’s most celebrated designers, and his highly tailored dresses and suiting have changed the way Sydney gets dressed – in the office and after hours. This is set to continue as he launches a capsule line, Suit, and shows his resort collection this May at Australian Fashion Week. Soon, Lee will be opening three new stores, including one on Paddington’s glamour strip Glenmore Road. Dion lives between Sydney and New York, and he’ll also be launching an editorial platform, Etc, to capture non-fashion collaborations with creatives in both cities.
In the future Dion hopes Sydney: “Becomes a more creative environment for different industries. I’d love to see it become known internationally for art, design and architecture.”
