Time Out says

Afghanistan-born, Pakistan-based writer Fatima Bhutto’s book The Shadow of the Crescent Moon was longlisted in 2014 for the Bailey’s Women’s Prize for Fiction. When she last appeared at the Sydney Writers’ Festival, she said her country was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Eight years later, Bhutto will reflect on not only her country’s politics but the global turbulence in a post-truth age.
