Time Out says

Christmas is coming early to Green Square this year, with a free, family-friendly concert popping up in the plaza on December 2. The evening of carols, feasting, fireworks and Mr Claus meet-and-greets will kick off at 6.30pm, with performances from kids’ entertainers like Sam Moran, SplashDance and Ally Boom Boom and the Cool Bananas. There’ll also be music for the bigger kids, with performances by Sydney Philharmonia Choir, DJ Peter Baecker, and the Glorious Sousaphonics.

Beyond the bright lights of the stage, there’ll be arts and craft activities for the kids, games of giant Jenga and table tennis tournaments with Santa’s elves. While there’ll be food trucks, gelato stands and coffee carts keeping everyone in high spirits, you can also bring your own picnic to set up on the lawn at Green Square Plaza.

And since we’re catching up with the big red and green day, there’ll be $5 gift stockings for sale, with all the proceeds going to the Variety: The Children’s Charity.
