Celebrate Melbourne Cup at the DOG Hotel

Melbourne Cup is approaching faster than the horses, and to celebrate the DOG is dishing out a cup day party packed with roving canapés, best dressed competitions, craft beer, Champagne and, of course, plenty of racing action. 

For $99 you can get around three hours worth of canapés, including oysters with mignonette dressing, chicken parfait with fresh figs on toast and Balmain bug sliders. Hot dishes include Panko crumbed prawns, smoked pumpkin arancini, beef Wellington and southern fried chicken winglets. To go with the canapés, you'll enjoy Veuve Monsigny Brut Champagne NV Markview sauvignon blanc, Markview cabernet merlot, Young Henry's cloudy apple cider, Stone and Wood pacific ale, Carlton Draught and more. 

The main event will be shown across 14 screens at The DOG and there are in-house TAB facilities, so you can get a bet in before the race begins. There will also be prizes for the best dressed, so make sure you dress up for the occasion.
