Bridge to 2030

Climb the Coathanger and support cancer research

Time Out says

If climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge has always been on your bucket list, now is the time to finally tick that baby off. While you’ll be climbing the iconic Sydney structure like you always dreamed, you also have the chance to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s efforts to reach zero breast cancer deaths by 2030.

They’re challenging teams of ten to raise $10,000 in support of their mission. If you haven’t got a double digits crew, that’s cool; you can also register solo or join an existing team’s fundraising efforts. Whichever way you swing it, you’re aiming to make $1,000 per person for the climb – and you won't be allowed to climb without reaching that goal – so it’s time to hit up your philanthropic mates for monetary donations.

The actual terror-inducing scramble up the steel harbour giant will happen on May 23, with your group allocated a bridge climbing time a week in advance.
