How Christmassy are you feeling? Not very? Whether it's the balmy warmth of December in the southern hemisphere or the helter-skelter pacing of 2020 that has your Yuletide radar running amok, this boozy guided painting class should help to steer you into feeling festive.
Combine your next pre-end-of-year catch-up with a creative activity by booking in for Cork & Chroma’s seasonal addition to its sip and paint calendar. In the ‘Tis the Sea Sun class, you’ll be painting up an Aussie-inspired sandy ‘snowman’, chilling on the beach in a seaside ‘snow’globe complete with sunnies and a palm tree.
You can get into the spirit (and on the spirits, if you wish) at either of Cork & Chroma’s studios in St Leonards (Friday, Dec 18 at 7pm) or Surry Hills (Saturday Dec 12 at 7pm, and Sunday Dec 20 at 2pm). The sessions are $60 a seat, including all the paint and supplies, just BYO bevvies. If you’d like to paint along from home, there’s an online class streaming at 7pm on Friday, December 18 for $25, book here.
Both studios are also open throughout the holidays with lots of other sessions to choose from, if something like a tranquil landscape or a Frida Kahlo tribute is more your painterly jam.
