From a cheap and frothy pint to a mid-week bangers-and-mash steal, we’ve never met a Happy Hour we haven’t liked here at Time Out Sydney. Because let’s face it, inflation is hurting all of our wallets and getting bang for your hard-earned buck just feels good.

So, we were excited to hear that a month-long Happy Hours festival is coming to Sydney’s Eastside on November 1-30, with over 30 deals on offer across the pubs, bars, restaurants and cafés in Potts Point, Darlinghurst, Surry Hills and Woolloomooloo. And the best bit is you can score a delicious feed and drink for $20 and under. We’ll take three, please.

Let’s get onto the important part: the deals. For just $20 bucks, you can enjoy freshly shucked oysters and a glass of Prosecco at Bar Nina; spaghetti bolognese, garlic bread and a glass of red at Bill & Toni’s; two tacos and a Margarita at Li'l Darlin; a burger and beer at the Clock; spicy chicken wings and a paddle of beer at Dove and Olive; plant-based arancini and Adonis at Alibi Bar and Kitchen; and two beers and two baos at Honkas Bar and Eats. Plus, $3 fried chicken wings at Butter, $6 Grifter pale ales at Café Freda’s, $15 chicken schnitzel at Oxford Hotel, and loads more.

If you’re partial to a bottomless brunch (who isn’t?), then you’re in luck, as 17 venues are hosting one for Happy Hours including the Winery, Slim’s Rooftop, and Lumière Café. Let the Bloody Marys, Mimosas, rosé and good times flow.

Happy Hours is designed to celebrate all the delicious food and drink offerings that the vibrant inner-city region has to offer, as well as support local businesses at the same time.

As we mentioned, there are over 30 deals on offer throughout November – one for every day of the month – so it’s the perfect time to discover your new favourite spot without going into debt!

Check out all the Happy Hours deals here.
