Get out your disco pants: the spectacular 1970s-themed show Velvet Rewired starring Marcia Hines is back for its next chapter at the Sydney Opera House, with tickets on sale now.

An ode to disco and the fever dream of excess that was Studio 54 (think wildly extravagant parties, debauchery and tolerance under the mirror ball), Velvet Rewired is a sparkling and sexy cabaret show with an intoxicating dose of disco fever.

Velvet Rewired features a high-energy mashup of disco, dance, burlesque and circus. Celebrating the likes of Diana Ross, the Bee Gees and Earth Wind and Fire, the show, which is directed by the award-winning Craig Ilott (Smoke and Mirrors), will take you about as close to New York's infamous club as you’re likely to get.

Marcia Hines will be joined on stage by acrobats, aerialists and vocalists to create a euphoric disco soundtrack that’ll have you boogeying all the way to wonderland in your seat.

Velvet Rewired will be running from December 22 to February 5 in the Studio at the Sydney Opera House. Tickets start from $64.90 and are on sale now.
