The magic is back. After three years off the road, master magician and escape-from-impossible-scenarios dude Cosentino is bringing a new show to the Roslyn Packer Theatre in February.
The Decennium Tour is Cosentino's new 90-minute stage spectacular, a celebration of ten years as Australia's top practitioner of hocus pocus. Expect him to perform his most death-defying escapes and his most mind-boggling illusions, while incorporating some serious dance moves (he won Dancing with the Stars ya' know) and a dash of audience participation.
New to the Cosentino phenomenon? Let us enlighten you. Inspired by Harry Houdini, and getting his start as a runner-up on Australia's Got Talent, this guy was the first Australian magician to have his own TV shows: he has written, produced, and starred in nine prime-time specials seen by over 500 million viewers. Costentino's live touring productions have played throughout Oceania and he has won multiple Merlin Awards, the highest accolades in the magic industry, joining prestigious winners including David Copperfield, Criss Angel and Penn & Teller.
Cosentino says that "Decennium is a celebration of everything I have achieved over the last decade. All of the pieces in this show have been chosen for a reason as they represent a significant time and place within my career."
