Australia's very own musical theatre legend Caroline O’Connor will be returning to Sydney for this special performance at City Recital Hall. Having performed on Broadway and London's West End (and in Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge), O'Connor will bring highlights from her musical career to life on stage, working her way through a songbook of her all time favourites.
The Helpmann Award winner will belt out songs from Chicago, West Side Story, Funny Girl, Follies, Sweeney Todd, On The Town, Mack and Mabel, Anastasia, Anything Goes and The Rink, accompanied by the vivacious and talented Sydney Gay and Lesbian Choir, who will add even more guts to each of the Broadway renditions. The performance will be directed by Tyran Parke (who will also make a special performance appearance), with the orchestra conducted by George Ellis. So snap up tickets to get your seats to this toe-tapping, celebratory night of song and dance.
Also if you're a long time fan, you can snap up a VIP ticket, which includes an exclusive post-concert supper with Caroline O'Connor and Tyran Parke, and pre-show lounge including refreshments.
