Ocean pool by day, wedding venue by night, the heritage-listed baths that sit below the Maroubra to Bondi coastal walkway have changed little since they were built in 1907.
The idyllic spot was born from one man's passion for the ocean: champion long-distance swimmer Henry Wylie obtained a special lease below the high-water mark to build the seawall and raised boardwalk.
If you're a local or you just want to dive in frequently, you can purchase a 10-entry pass for $55 ($26 for concessions) or an annual season pass for $370 ($170 concession). There are also different specials for families and winter passes.
