The Children's Bookshop (CLOSED)

Established in 1971, the Children's Bookshop is the cornerstone of the Beecroft village life, with parents flocking to the store with their young ones every day to browse picture books, young adult fiction, and the latest books for adults as well. There's a toy corner where littlies can amuse themselves, and a comfy armchair where anyone can settle in and get in touch with the joys of reading.

The range here is phenomenal, with an impressive display upfront of the newest picture books, and sections devoted to Australian and international authors. The shop organises workshops and author events too.
