Time Out says

Named after the highest index for an optical lens, Onepointsevenfour is a dimly lit haven of luxury eyewear for designer and fashion specs and sunnies on Paddington’s Glenmore Road. The third boutique from the brand, following similarly slick stores in Brisbane and Melbourne, is curated by director and optician Joshua Matta, who has co-designed eyewear collections for the likes of Sass & Bide, Akira and Zambesi.

At Onepointsevenfour you’ll find catwalk-worthy frames made from buffalo horn, bamboo, titanium and 24-carat gold. (Not the kind you want to lose at the beach!) The store is home to the largest Linda Farrow collections in Australia, and stocks brands such as Cutler and Gross, Alexander Wang and Alberta Ferretti.

If your budget doesn’t quite stretch to the new Matthew Williamson, there are a few styles from easier-on-the-wallet Cheap Monday, too. Find your pair and let the optician fit your prescription.
