MLC Centre unveils Disposable Truths

With around 50,000 disposable coffee cups binned every 30 seconds, small actions like using a reusable cup can make a difference. Martin Place's MLC Centre have commissioned Los Angeles-based artist Marina DeBris to create a sculptural piece that puts sustainability and recycling in the spotlight. Using discarded coffee cup lids 'Disposable Truths' hopes to raise awareness and encourage visitors to recycle and consider the ways they can change up their routine to be more environmentally considerate. 

The sculpture will be unveiled on Thu Sep 7, with drinks and canapés from 6pm. On the evening all attendees will also receive a 20 per cent discount on the purchase of Keep Cups.
