This store is permanently closed.

The new luxury lifestyle and fashion brand from the family of Lululemon has opened two new stores in Sydney just a year after opening their first store in Vancouver. Owners Shannon and her stepson JJ Wilson (wife and son of Lululemon founder Dennis 'Chip' Wilson) launched the brand of 'technical luxury apparel' in Canada in 2014 and they've since employed 600 staff globally.

The Kit and Ace shop in Surry Hills is a 150-square metre space near Bourke Street Bakery that stocks machine-washable cashmere for men and women. The idea is that activewear clothing can be worn day-to-night without feeling like you're wearing sports gear all day.

Kit and Ace swung open the doors of their Bondi Junction store within the same month too. Both stores offer apparel and accessories for men and women, but what exactly are we talking about? We predict the basic tanks, T-shirts and pants will be the most popular items. For the guys, T-shirts start around $88 and for women $78. But as we draw closer to summer, we're most excited by the large shawls made with 10 per cent cashmere – imagine wrapping yourself up in one of those to watch the sunset. Bliss.
