Blink and you would not have missed it.

To celebrate the imminent return of long, blissful days spent at the beach or poolside, when watermelon is a legitimate lunch and one more swim is always on the cards, Australian home and lifestyle brand Sheridan recently floated a giant summer beach towel down Sydney Harbour for two days. And when we say giant, we mean it – the towel had a big old surface area of almost 250 metres. As you do!

To coincide with the multicoloured towel float, Sheridan also just announced the launch of its new summer range featuring soft cotton towels, colourful ponchos, linen loungewear, hats and more. Basically, everything you need for a great day out at the beach or pool (just add swimming togs and SPF 50+).

Arguably best known for their perfectly fluffy bath towels and luxe sheets, Sheridan is also renowned for its quality materials and craftsmanship – which you can expect to find throughout their new summer range.

Also, keep your eyes peeled this November as Sheridan has something big in store  – and this time it’s not a floating towel. Hint: it’ll be happening at iconic beaches all across Australia and you may be going home with something. Be sure to check Sheridan’s Instagram for more updates.

Summer’s coming! Find out more information and shop the new range here.
