Time Out says

If you, like many of us, have been watching on with horror at the atrocities facing the people of Ukraine in recent days, it can be very hard to know how to help. Fortunately, some of Sydney's best bakers are putting on a bake sale to end all bake sales.

Headed up by Sina Klug, owner of Sydney vegan sweet spot Nutie Donuts, the charity auction will be donating all proceeds to the Voices Of Children Foundation, an organisation that helps children affected by the war in eastern Ukraine. Established in 2015, they provide psychological and psychosocial support to children to help overcome the consequences of armed conflict.

More than 30 Sydney bakeries, cake makers and pastry legends are involved in the Bake for Ukraine Cake Auction. So far, cakes up for grabs include incredible creations from the likes of Banksia Bakehouse, Passiontree Velvet, THICC Cookies, Bakedown Cakery, and Sweet Mayhem, while there are also vegan options by cake legends like Greenberg & Co, Oh My Days, Ruby Lonesome and Nutie.

Also coming to the table are delicious sweet treats from Sydney bakeries Cupcake Parlour, Shadow Bakery, Plant Power Desserts, Mindful Baker, Madame & Yves, Cacaoette, Lasagne for Breakfast, The C Word Cookies, BIGG Brownies, Kindness Cakes, Callebaut, Raw Passion Desserts, Raga Muffin, Flyover Fritterie, Le Gourmand, I Should be Souvlaki and Liz Miu, Emma’s Plant Kitchen, Butterfingers Cakery and Mondays Baking Day.

That's one heck of a line-up digging deep and doing their part. Now it's your turn. All you have to do is head to the Bake for Ukraine website here, pick which cake has your name on it, and bid. The auction is open from today, March 1 until midnight on March 13.
