They say money can’t buy happiness, but in our books this new breakfast offering from one of Sydney’s most luxurious hotels is getting pretty close.
The Shangri-La Sydney has launched a sunrise breakfast for the Harbour City, featuring a Western Australian lobster omelette with Spanish onion, tomatoes and a creamy lobster bisque, paired with a glass of Veuve Clicquot. The lavish lobster omelette is served alongside a fresh salad with candied walnuts, orange braised fennel and avocado, as well as toasted Sonoma Sourdough. Plus, guests are welcome to help themselves to pastries, artisanal cheeses, delicious salads, charcuterie and more. This very well may be Sydney’s bougiest breakfast. And just a heads up, you may not look at Weet-Bix the same way again…
Take in the sweeping views of the Sydney Harbour, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House as the sun rises with prime window seating. Available at the hotel’s Altitude restaurant in The Rocks, Sydney’s Sunrise Breakfast is on offer Thursday to Sunday, 6.30am to 8am – so you can really start your day on the right foot.
The breakfast will cost you $109 per person, which includes the glass of Champagne. For an extra $90, you can swap your Veuve for a glass of Dom Perignon Champagne, and while you’re at it, go all out and add 30g of Black Oscietra Caviar for an additional $180 per person. We’re not going for modesty here.
From a special breakfast date to celebrating a milestone birthday with family, or if you just really love lobster and Champagne, you’ll be in for a treat with Shangri-La’s new luxe breakfast.
