A new café has opened up in Kellyville, and it goes by the name of the Local Trade Café. The 60-seat café serves up breakfast and lunch, and they pride themselves in using fresh, local produce.
Their menu is inspired by Turkish cuisine, with dishes like their corn, zucchini and chicken fritters served with babaghanoush and tahini dressing. And if you're looking for something a bit heartier, the slow roasted lamb roll with tabbouleh and caramelised onion will see you right.
Situated right next to an indoor playground, it’s super family-friendly too. “A big part of our business is keeping families happy,” says Derin Unutmaz, who owns Local Trade with his wife Estelle. So whether you’re staying for a long lunch or stopping in to grab a bite or a coffee on the run, staff will make you – and the kids – feel right at ease. For Unutmaz, he just wants you to leave feeling “full and satisfied” – and you’re sure to be if you hit up this café any time soon.
