This western suburb gem features an open and inviting interior, with some impressive graffiti art on the walls. The Local Tart offers up brunch classics to the hungry masses as well as a tasty cup of coffee or two.
There’s ample seating inside as well as few smaller tables just out the front. Breakfast options include ‘Pete’s Fav’, a take on the classic smashed avo, ‘The Boss’ brekkie roll and the halloumi stack.
You can also order up a freshly made sandwich- try the rare roast beef or vegetarian rissole. For lunch there’s plenty to choose from. The spanakopita and halloumi burger are popular options, but it’s hard to go past the burger with the lot or the scotch fillet steak sandwich.
For drinks there is a selection of coffees. However if you’re not a caffeine connoisseur then you can try one of the scrumptious smoothies (in berry, banana and a range of seasonal fruits) or choose from the range of organic teas.
