Time Out says

The Lane’s menu doesn’t deal in strict boundaries – there’s a hit of France in the sweet potato and leek soup, Italy in the crab spaghettini and Greece in the halloumi salad. There’s charcuterie, olives and bruschetta for grazing on during after-work drinks, as well as hefty meals for the hungry – the trio of pork features the protein three ways, with crisp pork belly, roasted fennel sausage and chorizo all sharing real estate on the same plate.

Australia is strongly represented on the wine list, where drops from Orange to McLaren Vale are on offer. During the warmer months, find a place outdoors on the balcony to settle into as the stream of suits from Australia Square passes by.
