The Alibi

The Alibi Darlinghurst is a modern Japanese joint on Victoria Street, captained by Adam Lane, who has worked at Tetsuya’s, Nobu London and Sake. The menu boasts combinations like kingfish sashimi with jalapeno, pomegranate, baby coriander, pine nuts and yuzu soy, or maybe roasted red miso lamb rack with confit garlic, pickled young ginger and Sicilian olives is more your speed. Either way there are also a hefty stack of sakes and rums to accompany it with.
