Clear your diary mid-week for the foreseeable future with casual Italian eatery Fortuna Drink & Eat, which has launched a $35 Sharing is Caring offer on Wednesdays and a $40 Crazy Pasta Thursdays offer. As if we needed another excuse to feast on the much-loved Mediterranean cuisine.

Enjoy a night off cooking and forget about cold takeaway by letting the bright and casual Darlinghurst restaurant create an authentic and delicious Italian feast for you, available from 5pm onwards.

Curated by executive chef Egon Marzaioli, who grew up in Naples, Wednesday’s offer includes house-baked focaccia served with pesto and spiced ricotta, as well as a charcuterie board featuring prosciutto, salami, mortadella, vegetables and pickles, all for $35. Opt to add an Aperol, Watermelon or Limoncello Spritz for an extra $10 and you’ve yourself got a perfectly balanced meal. Bring your friends and family and make a night of it – Wednesdays don’t really get much better in our humble opinion.

If you’re a pasta lover, head to Fortuna on a Thursday evening and get your hands on the Crazy Pasta offer, which kicks off with non-stop focaccia and dips. Then you can get stuck into Fontuna’s unlimited pasta. Yes, you read that correctly. Taste from the full array of traditional pasta dishes, from a rich and hearty pappardelle lamb ragù or a fragrant fettuccine with mushroom and truffle to a comforting mac and cheese or a gnocchi Sorrentina with ripe tomatoes. The offer comes with a glass of house red, white or rosé.

And if you can’t get to Fortuna during the week, they've got an ace Bottomless Italian Feast during the weekend for a mere $89.
