The Plumer Road Chicken Shop can likely be credited with every kilogram put on by every private school boy in the Eastern Suburbs. Between their moist rotisserie chook, liberal servings of chips and chicken gravy and abundance of sides, they've got everything a teenage boy (or slightly dusty adult) could want from a corner take away. But because this is the Eastern Suburbs, they do it with the faintest touch of poshness. The vegetables are overcooked, but not that overcooked. The salads are fairly crispy. That's not to say it's not weird. Want a half serve of pad Thai and half serve of mac and cheese in the same box? They will create this atrocity for you, and serve it with Poweraid.
