Time Out says

Dining at Plage is like having dinner at a friend's house – though admittedly few friends know how to cook French-Japanese fusion like Plage. The quaint dining room stands in contrast to the fine dining cuisine. Smoked cod cream with dark and broody squid ink lavosh is more dramatic than your average entrée. Try the ricotta and thyme gnocchi: they come out golden, crisp and scattered with caramelised cauliflower, porcine emulsion and Brussels sprout ‘petals’. Specials include Wagyu carpaccio in dashi broth.
