Once a month you can raise a glass to the best wineries and distilleries around the globe at Tequila Mockingbird. Each edition of the dinner showcases new producers and pairs their creations with items from the Latin American-themed restaurant’s tapas menu, which stars bold flavours and quality produce.
In August, you’ll be taken to a new altitude of taste on the Adean Wine Trail Dinner. Host Angelica Nohra will walk diners through six courses of the smoothest drops from Andeluna and Terra Noble wineries, paired with classic Latin American dishes like the ceviche tacos, seasoned with lime and coriander, or the Peruvian osso buco with a gentle parsnip purée contrasting the spicy tomato-based sauce. Wines featuring on this month’s menu include a sauvignon blanc from the Casablanca Valley in Chile and a range of malbecs from Mendoza, Argentina. A tingly Pisco Sour will accompany dessert.
The three separate dining areas at Tequila Mockingbird – an outdoor terrace, the main downstairs area and banquet room upstairs – make this a private experience for the group even on a busy night at this fresh spot in Paddington.
