The Shangri-La Hotel Sydney's Café Mix will be celebrating the tastes of Kuala Lumpur, Penang and beyond when it hosts its own Malaysian Food Festival, May 26-June 1.
Guest chefs Anis Rusydan Bin Amran and Azman Bin Mat Hasan will be flown in from the Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur to cook up a feast, showcasing the aromatic and authentic flavours of Malaysia.
Feast on coconut-infused beef rendang, rich laksa, fragrant satay chicken and fiery beef sambal, then finish off with a dessert buffet of sweet tapioca cakes, sago cakes and screwpine and herb cakes.
Malaysian Food Festival dishes are avaliable for lunch from noon-2.30pm for $55, and for dinner from 6-10.30pm for $85. Booking is recommended.
