Kickaboom

Time Out says

In the lower reaches of the Blue Mountains Glenbrook is raising its brunch profile with the likes of Kickaboom. The café is run by Dylan Johnson, a former Australian Aeropress Champion who is now using his coffee skills to keep the good people of Glenbrook in high-end caffeine. The bright white walls, ample greenery and simple industrial could be straight out of Surry Hills (but with less traffic and more trees), which makes sense given Johnson has clocked time at both Reuben Hills and Paramount Coffee Projects. If you have a sweet tooth, they're expanding the drinks menu to include speculatte – a Dutch-inspired sweet ginger flavoured milk – and a butterscotch latte. On the food front the menu blithely leaps from fried chicken and waffles, to black forest porridge, ramen, and fairy floss hotcakes? Plus, vegans are looked after with an eggplant toastie and crunchy lotus chips on the side.
