There's live music every night from 7-10pm at Jazushi, which you can't say about all that many venues in Sydney, let alone intimate neighbourhood restaurants serving modern takes on Japanese classics. You'll find edamame, gyoza and salmon sashimi on the tariff here, as well as karaage chicken, but it's the inventive and spirited East-meets-West dishes like miso hummus and kangaroo tartare with chilli mayo that have keep this long-running favourite front of mind for locals – and, of course, all that jazz.
