Foveaux Restaurant is now called Foveaux Street Dining and the refreshed venue boasts a menu that's a little European and a little modern Australian with Asian accents. You could order up tamarind short ribs plated up with roast tri tip with eggplant, nashi pear and coriander, or for something more familiar they do a lamb rump, with green olives, baby gem lettuce, charred pearl onions, peas and seaweed crisps. Dessert could be an angel cake with strawberry, peppermint jelly and ginger sherbet sorbet, a coconut parfait with burnt pineapple, lychee rice paper and coriander or a smoked caramel custard. Of course if decisions aren't your forte they offer two tiers of tasting menus for $70 or $85.
