Feast like royalty at Kingsleys

When it comes to feasts with a view, Kingsleys does a rather spectacular job. Almost rocking with the tides on the harbour at Woolloomooloo Finger Wharf, Kingsleys has long been a Sydneysider’s go-to for fresh local seafood or a classic steakhouse experience. But now their new feasting menu is making waves, ushering in a fresh season of social dining in epic proportions.

The menu has been prepared for the most ferocious meat eaters among us. Each of the three share-platter courses stars a new cut of tender beef or lamb that’s had irrepressible flavour scorched into it by the restaurant’s new charcoal oven. The intense heat from the Josper keeps all the good stuff in while adding an intense, smoky layer. This is the perfect match for the three whiskies they’re pairing with this feast on Wednesday nights, and for just $79 per person, it’s only right you explore this tantalising combination.

Stage one involves 400-day grain-fed Wagyu rib on the bone. A classic that’s enlivened with a tangy chimichurri – incidentally great for digestion. The second course sees a whole kilogram of Victorian lamb shoulder doused in a healthy serve of Spanish romesco sauce. The final hoorah is 1.2kg of barbecue-glazed beef ribs, carefully selected from the Riverina’s finest. Each of these comes with seasonal side dishes, house sauces and bone marrow.

Lighter options and Kingsleys favourites are still available beyond the revamped meaty menu. But regular customers returning for these classic dishes will appreciate the new fitout in the 250-seat restaurant. The opened-up space has an airy seaside feel, and leather, timber and stone add a bold, modern look.

So whether you’re hosting an after-office outing or a catch-up with friends, this exciting new menu in a fresh setting is sure to please the crowd. It’s suitable for 6-12 diners and available from 6pm.

Kingsleys Woolloomooloo is located at 10/6 Cowper Wharf Road, Woolloomooloo. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner.
