Who doesn’t love a good falafel? Anybody? ... Bueller? That’s what we thought. Luckily, Falafel Zaman – meaning “old-time falafel” in Arabic – has arrived to answer all Neutral Bay’s Lebanese street food needs, from kafta to baklava and, of course, falafel. Falafel Zaman prides itself on staying true to the original Beirut falafel that can be properly enjoyed in trios, wrapped in Lebanese bread with tahini sauce, pickles and a salad of parsley, mint and tomato. Load up on the hummus, garlic dip, baba ganoush and labneh, all freshly made on-site. Of course, it would only be right to finish your meal with a piece of traditional Middle Eastern sweet baklava. We only wish it were open till 2am.
