Black Bar & Grill head chef Dany Karam is debuting his new Friday lunch menu with three courses costing just $47 per person. The feast-style menu is perfect for sharing with friends, clients or colleagues and is a top choice for a long lunch.
Start with an entrée of either charcuterie with housemade chutney and sourdough; freshly shucked oysters with a red wine vinegar and shallot dressing; or a fattoush salad with tomatoes, sumac, purslane and crisp bread, topped with a pomegranate molasses dressing.
The main event features slow rotisserie-cooked meats with complementary sides. Choose from suckling pig with crackling, celeriac and mustard dressing, or lamb shoulder with harissa and heirloom carrots. Then select from thick-cut chips with garlic, parmesan and rosemary salt; sugar snap peas with a buttermilk dressing and baby chives; or cos lettuce, anchovies and wood grilled bacon with an egg dressing.
Then finish off your meal with a rich crème brûlée with strawberries, almond crumble and a fresh coconut sorbet.
