This Burwood-based boutique patisserie has some serious talent pumping out freshly baked cakes, desserts and sweets. A former Quay pastry chef and a Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute trainee are behind Dulcet Cakes and Sweets. A local hit is their durian flavoured crepe cake, which takes the distinct fruit and layers it with cream and delicate pancakes. Plus they make it in a chococlate and matcha version. Many of their creations also focus on minimising sugar so you can find a sweet potato mousse cake, a chestnut chiffon, a cheesecake made with either tofu or yoghurt, and a black sesame mousse. You'll also find bright green matcha soft serves, cute animal shaped treats, lemon tarts and elaborate celebration cakes.
