This bakery will be employing French pastry techniques and spicing it up with Malaysian, Japanese and Thai flavours, which makes sense given its location just near Spice Alley. You'll be able to order up black pepper duck and beef rendang encased flakey pies, alongside traditional options like lamb, red wine and rosemary, and chicken, leek and veggies. Desserts are equally as impressive – try Japanese yuzu meringue choux puffs or lychee rose crepe cakes. The new wave bakery comes from Kaisern Ching (the guy behind Chinese joint Chefs Gallery) and Kensington Street founder and Dr Stanley Quek. Also bonus – everything on the menu here is going for less than a tenner.
