The Green Square Library is a modern antidote to every tired image of dusty books in a dark you you care to name. While the stacks themselves live underground, the gateway to this cache of knowledge is a beautiful glass pyramid, and the gatekeeper is a café and wine bar called Café Noun. This is where you can accompany your reading with Italian snacks and cheese plates, six classic cocktails, perhaps a reading or jazz performance, or just a quiet glass of wine while you research at your own pace. The beers come with recognisable international labels, and if sugar is your preferred poison, they make waffles and a cereal milk affogato.
