We can already feel our stomachs lurching just thinking about the intense new water slides at Aquatopia. The Western Sydney water park has unveiled three new aqua adventures that’ll give thrill seekers a scare while keeping them cool.

The new king of the park is the 20-metre, three-lane racing slide which lets you hurtle down the tubes beside your mates. Aquatopia reckons it's the tallest of its kind in Sydney. There’s also the rocket drop slide that shoots you through a trapdoor down a translucent tube, and a free-fall slide that’s reminiscent of that Questacon free-fall drop ride we all sweated through on our Year Six Canberra excursion.

You can explore these heart-in-throat rides and the other slides, pools and sprinklers at Aquatopia Water Park until the season wraps up after the April school holidays. Single tickets will set you back $15-$20.
