If your journey into work takes you onto one of Sydney’s iconic green and yellow ferries, you’ve already won the morning jackpot. But this week, the cross-harbour commute is getting even better – with a fleet of superyachts ferrying Sydneysiders across the harbour for zero dollars. For the next four days, Samsung’s Galaxy Go fleet will be offering free journeys across the harbour, plus free coffee and breakfast. What’s the catch? We’re trying to work that out, too!

From today (Tuesday, February 18) until Friday, February 21, Sydneysiders commuting between Manly and Circular Quay, as well as Rose Bay and Circular Quay, will be able to upgrade their journey by jumping on board one of these ultra-sleek vessels. Space is limited, so check the timetables (here) and plan your journey accordingly.

The water-bound activation has set sail to celebrate the launch of Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series, and boat goers will get the chance to have a play on the new devices during their journey. If you’re more interested in simply getting your morning caffeine and pastry fix, step aboard, stock up on brekkie then head onto the deck for a super-luxe journey.

Although checking out the Galaxy S25 series isn’t obligatory, it will be hard not to take a squiz once you’re on board – the flash new phones are space-age in their design, with wildly futuristic features designed to make everyday tasks (eg: getting to the office) a little more seamless. And once you’ve sussed out Samsung’s shiny devices, you’ll want to jump onto your own – with passengers encouraged to share their shots from their journey (tagging @samsungau and hashtagging #GalaxyS25Ultrav) for the chance to win what Samsung has titled the "Ultimate Commuter Prize Pack" (the contents are unconfirmed, but we’re guessing a sparkly new phone will be included – a superyacht is probably a little less likely).

Travel on the Galaxy Go fleet is free of charge, but space is limited. Passengers will be required to sign a digital waiver prior to boarding. You can check out the timetables over here.
