Look, a bar with water views is nice and everything, but imagine if you could take a quick dip between glasses of rosé over summer? Pier One Sydney Harbour have made this beautiful dream a reality by installing a plunge pool right off the side of the pontoon. It means you can go for a cheeky dip right beside the Sydney Harbour Bridge and float around on a pool toy before getting out, towelling off and buying another round.
The catch is that it's only available for private hire, which means that unless you're the kind of baller who wants to drop $2000 ($500 hire free, $1500 minimum spend) on a pool party, you might want to gather up to 30 of your mates to spread out the cost. You can book the pool for two, three-hour windows each day – 1-4pm or 5-8pm. You can also opt for the two-hour unlimited pour beverage package for $80pp. The fees include pool toys, including paddle boards, and a lifeguard and waitstaff.
