Left your V-Day plans to the last minute? We’ve found a solution that will not only score you some serious brownie points with your main squeeze, but also help to make the world a better place.

A Table to End Hunger is an initiative by The Hunger Project Australia – a not-for-profit organisation which aims to end world hunger by 2030. Here’s how it works: ATTEH have booked tables on Valentine’s Day (Wed Feb 14) at some of the best restaurants across the country. You can bid for tables at the restaurants of your choice, and if you win, then you’ll not only score a table at eateries that have been most likely booked out for months, but 100 per cent of the proceeds will go to The Hunger Project. What’s more, if you pay with an American Express Card, then American Express* will donate an extra 15 per cent to the cause.

Sounds simple right? Check out the full range of restaurants on the website. You could be enjoying top-notch Thai at Longrain, French fare at Hubert, a feast at Melbourne export Chin Chin... the list goes on.

The auctions close today (Sun Feb 11) at 9pm, so get onto it now to lock in a Valentine’s Day to remember.
