Hessian bags and doggos at the ready, because Sydney has a brand new farmers' market kicking of this Sunday, June 3. The Tramsheds Growers’ Markets will debut this weekend, showcasing local and regional growers and makers. Like any good weekend market the focus will be squarely on seasonal produce and small batch goods from local providores. Devised with help from the crew behind Bodega 1904 (the wine and snack stop from the Porteño crew that's located in the Tramsheds), the market will take place every Sunday from 8am until 2pm.
You'll be able to load up on sweet nectar from Annandale Honey, fresh blooms Jodie McGregor Florals, lamb from Mirrool Creek, cornfed chicken from Galston’s Game Farm and eggs from Kangaloon, alongside Ladies Who Jam, Perfect Circle Whole Foods and Gelato Messina. Alongside all the take-home swag, you'll also be able to get involved in workshops and DIY classes hosted by winemakers, cheesemakers, chefs, authors and artists, and there will also be live music to soundtrack it all.
The Tramshed Farmers' Market, Sunday June 3, 8am-2pm. 1 Dalgal Way, Forest Lodge 2037.
