Here's some news that'll make you shout the lord's name: The Book of Mormon has just added a new preview performance for Tuesday February 27 at 7pm and every seat in the theatre is just $20.
Every. Single. Seat.
That means you could score a ticket that would usually set you back more than $250 for less than you'd pay for some Sydney breakfasts.
You'll also get to be one of the first people in the city to see the show – the new preview is now the show's first performance in Sydney before its official opening on March 9.
The only catch is you'll need to line up at the Sydney Lyric Theatre box office in person next Monday February 19, with tickets on sale from 9am. The box office is expecting a massive queue and the tickets will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis, so make sure you get to the theatre early. You'll be able to buy coffee at The Star from 6am to help power you through the day.
You can only purchase two tickets per person and will need to bring photo I.D., which you'll need to use for entry to the actual show (the producers are trying to avoid the tickets being sold off to scalpers).
If you can't make it to the box office on Monday, don't stress: the show will be in Sydney for a while and is already booking through July 15. And if the regular ticket prices are making your eyes water, we're predicting a $40 ticket lottery – like the one held for the Melbourne season – will be announced in the coming weeks.
